Description
Gears of War 2 continues the battle for humanity's survival as Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad launch an all-out assault against the Locust Horde. Following the events of the original game, the Coalition of Ordered Governments takes the fight underground in a desperate attempt to stop the Locust threat once and for all. As the war intensifies, Marcus must also search for answers about his missing father while facing overwhelming odds and devastating new enemies.
The gameplay builds upon the series' acclaimed cover-based combat system with larger battles, new weapons, massive creatures, and expanded cooperative gameplay. Players engage in intense firefights across ruined cities, underground strongholds, and hostile battlefields while using teamwork and tactical positioning to survive.
