Description
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is a colourful 3D platformer set in an Australian-inspired world. Players control Ty, a boomerang-wielding hero on a quest to rescue his family and stop the villainous Boss Cass. Exploration plays a major role, with open hub areas, collectible items and varied missions spread across beaches, rainforests and the outback.
Combat centres on interchangeable boomerangs with different abilities, alongside bite and spin attacks for close encounters. Levels mix platforming challenges, enemy encounters and light puzzle-solving. With its bright presentation, Aussie humour and accessible gameplay, Ty became a memorable mascot-style adventure on PS2.
