BioShock Infinite

BioShock Infinite transports players to Columbia, a spectacular city in the clouds set in 1912 America. Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt is sent to rescue Elizabeth, a young woman with extraordinary dimensional powers imprisoned in the city for years. As political tensions between factions boil over into civil war, Booker and Elizabeth must fight their way to freedom.

Developed by Irrational Games, BioShock Infinite is a landmark in narrative game design. The bond between Booker and Elizabeth drives the story forward, with Elizabeth actively assisting in combat by opening Tears to bring in supplies and turrets. A mind-bending finale involving quantum mechanics and alternate timelines cemented the game's status as one of the most thought-provoking stories in gaming. Its Vigors system provides a colourful take on the series' iconic plasmid combat.
