Bodycount

Bodycount is an intense first-person shooter developed by Codemasters as a spiritual successor to Black. Players take on the role of an operative working for a shadowy intelligence organisation, sent into African and Asian conflict zones to eliminate high-value targets. The emphasis is on relentless arcade-style action rather than tactical realism.

The game's standout feature is its destructible cover system, where almost every piece of scenery can be shredded by gunfire, forcing players to keep moving and think on their feet. The Skill Kill system rewards stylish kills with energy that powers screen-clearing special abilities. While it received a mixed critical reception, Bodycount offers a fast-paced arcade shooter experience with satisfying gun mechanics and explosive moment-to-moment gameplay.
