Condemned: Criminal Origins

Condemned: Criminal Origins is a first-person psychological horror game set in a dark, decaying urban city plagued by brutal serial killings. Players control Ethan Thomas, a forensic investigator working for a special task force, who becomes entangled in a series of violent murders while hunting a mysterious killer known as the Match Maker. As Ethan investigates deeper, he is forced to confront both the city’s madness and his own deteriorating mental state.

The gameplay focuses heavily on close-quarters combat, investigation, and environmental exploration. Players rely on improvised melee weapons such as pipes, planks, and tools to survive intense encounters with aggressive enemies, as ammunition is limited. Detective mechanics allow players to examine crime scenes, collect forensic evidence, and use tools to solve cases and progress the story. Its gritty atmosphere, immersive sound design, and intense first-person combat create a deeply unsettling survival horror experience.
