Dance Central 2

Dance Central 2 builds on the Kinect dance experience of the original with a bigger song list, improved features, and an enhanced simultaneous two-player mode that was a standout addition for party play. Harmonix expanded the setlist to over 40 tracks spanning pop, hip-hop, R&B, and dance music, with favourites from artists including Robyn, Nicki Minaj, and the Black Eyed Peas. A lightweight story mode adds a narrative thread through the dance battles.

The game retains the Break It Down tutorial mode for learning individual moves and adds the ability to import tracks from the original Dance Central. Improved Kinect tracking made movement recognition more accurate and responsive than its predecessor. With expanded content, better multiplayer, and a deep catalogue of recognisable songs, Dance Central 2 is widely considered the definitive version of the Kinect dance experience.
