The Dark Sword Trap, also known as the Dark Dagger, is a Dark-element Traptanium trap released for Skylanders: Trap Team. This distinctive sword-shaped trap can be placed on the Traptanium Portal to capture and play as certain Dark-element villains.

The trap can capture villains including Eye Scream, Fisticuffs, Nightshade and Tae Kwon Crow, allowing them to be controlled as playable characters after being imprisoned. The Dark Sword Trap is also one of the more sought-after traps in the Skylanders collection.
