Dead Island (Game of the Year Edition)

Dead Island is an open-world action RPG set on a tropical island overrun by a sudden zombie outbreak. Players choose from several survivors, each with unique abilities, as they attempt to escape while helping others and uncovering the cause of the infection. The game blends exploration, survival, and story-driven missions across resorts, cities, and jungle environments.

Combat focuses heavily on melee weapons, with players crafting and upgrading items to fight off hordes of the infected. The game features a skill tree system that allows for character progression and customisation, as well as cooperative multiplayer where up to four players can work together online. With its mix of survival mechanics, open-world freedom, and cooperative gameplay, the game offers a gritty and immersive experience on the PlayStation 3.
