Description
Dead or Alive 5 is a fast-paced 3D fighting game that continues the long-running Dead or Alive series with an expanded roster of martial artists, ninjas, soldiers, and combat specialists. Set after the events of previous games, the story follows multiple characters as they become involved in the fifth Dead or Alive Tournament while uncovering conspiracies, rivalries, and threats connected to the mysterious DOATEC organisation.
The gameplay focuses on fluid hand-to-hand combat, featuring the series’ signature triangle system of strikes, throws, and counters. Dynamic stages allow fighters to interact with environments, triggering spectacular transitions and environmental hazards during battles. Multiple game modes include Story Mode, Arcade, Time Attack, Survival, Training, and both local and online multiplayer. Its detailed character animations, responsive combat system, and competitive depth helped make it one of the most popular fighting games of its generation.
