Description
Fade to Black is a cinematic science-fiction action adventure and the sequel to the acclaimed game Flashback. Players take on the role of Conrad B. Hart, who awakens aboard a prison ship with fragmented memories and soon discovers a dangerous alien threat once again endangering humanity. To uncover the truth and stop the invasion, Conrad must escape captivity and embark on a perilous journey across space.
The gameplay combines exploration, puzzle-solving, platforming, and combat within fully 3D environments. Players navigate complex levels, interact with characters, collect weapons and equipment, and overcome a variety of environmental hazards and enemies. Featuring a cinematic presentation, atmospheric storytelling, and a blend of action and adventure elements, Fade to Black was one of the early PlayStation titles to embrace fully three-dimensional gameplay while continuing the narrative of its celebrated predecessor.
