Description
Gears of War: Judgment is a prequel to the Gears of War series that takes place shortly after Emergence Day, when the Locust Horde first launched its devastating attack on humanity. The story follows Damon Baird and Kilo Squad as they stand trial for disobeying orders while recounting the events of a desperate mission to stop a powerful Locust weapon capable of destroying entire cities.
The gameplay builds upon the series’ signature cover-based combat with faster movement, new weapon systems, and score-based objectives that encourage aggressive play. Players battle waves of Locust enemies across war-torn urban environments while completing optional combat challenges that increase difficulty and rewards. Cooperative campaign play and competitive multiplayer modes provide extensive replayability, while the OverRun mode combines team-based combat with objective-focused gameplay.
