Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier continues the story of the series after the events of Jak 3, sending Jak and Daxter into a fractured world running low on Eco after their homeland begins crumbling into the sea. Traditional platforming and gunplay return, alongside new vehicle sections flying a customisable airship between floating landmasses.
Combat mixes Jak's morph gun arsenal with melee attacks, while platforming sections lean on the series' familiar mix of jumping, gliding, and environmental puzzle solving. Airship combat and exploration add a fresh layer on top of the traditional on foot gameplay. With its continuation of the series' story and added vehicle focused content, it offers a solid send off for the PSP era of Jak and Daxter.
