Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (Platinum)

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is a colourful 3D platforming adventure that follows Jak and his wisecracking companion Daxter on a journey to save their world from dark eco corruption. After Daxter is accidentally transformed into an ottsel during a forbidden expedition, the pair travel across villages, jungles, mountains, and ancient ruins searching for a cure while uncovering secrets tied to the mysterious Precursor civilisation.

The gameplay focuses on seamless open-world platforming, exploration, puzzle-solving, and collectible hunting without loading screens between major areas. Players use jumping, spinning attacks, eco powers, and vehicles to navigate diverse environments filled with enemies and hidden objectives. Different eco energies provide unique abilities that assist with combat and traversal throughout the adventure. Its vibrant world design, smooth gameplay, and charming characters helped make it one of the defining platformers of the PlayStation 2 era.
