Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a high-speed action spin-off from the Metal Gear series, following cyborg ninja Raiden as he works for a private military company in a world dominated by advanced technology and political instability. When a powerful conspiracy involving war profiteers and rogue military forces threatens global stability, Raiden embarks on a violent mission of revenge against those who exploit war for profit.

The gameplay focuses on fast-paced sword combat, allowing players to slice enemies and environments with precision using a unique blade mode system. Combat emphasises aggression, timing, and precision parrying rather than stealth, featuring intense boss battles against other powerful cyborgs. Players can collect energy from enemies to restore health and upgrade abilities. Its stylish presentation, heavy metal soundtrack, and over-the-top action make it one of the most distinctive entries in the Metal Gear franchise.
