Description
Mighty No. 9 is a run and gun action platformer created by the original designer of Mega Man, following robot hero Beck as he battles a roster of rogue Mighty Numbers across side scrolling levels. A signature dash attack lets Beck absorb defeated enemies for temporary power ups tied to their abilities.
Boss battles grant Beck new weapons upon defeat, encouraging players to think about stage order much like the classic games that inspired it. Branching stage paths and rankings add replay value for players chasing better completion times. With its spiritual successor design, it aims to recapture the classic run and gun platforming of its inspiration.
