Description
No More Heroes is an action-adventure hack-and-slash game that follows Travis Touchdown, an anime-loving assassin who enters a deadly competition to become the world’s top-ranked killer. Set in the stylised city of Santa Destroy, players battle through bizarre missions and eccentric enemies while climbing the assassin rankings.
The gameplay combines open-world exploration with intense sword combat using the motion controls of the Wii. Players swing the Wii Remote to perform attacks, execute finishing moves, and recharge Travis’s beam katana during battle. Side jobs and mini-games provide money to unlock upgrades and enter new ranked fights. With its unique style, dark humour, and over-the-top action, the title became one of the Wii’s most distinctive experiences.
