Open Season (Essentials)

Open Season follows Boog, a domesticated grizzly bear, and Elliot, a scrappy deer, as they navigate life in the forest after Boog is released into the wild just before hunting season begins. The game recreates the film's story through action platforming levels set across forest, town, and hunting camp locations.

Boog and Elliot each bring different abilities to platforming and light combat sections, with players able to switch between them to tackle different obstacles. Mini games themed around the film's forest antics add variety between the main story levels. With its family friendly tone and film accurate story, it suits young fans of the animated movie.
