Description
Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon transforms the player into a Pokemon and drops them into a world of randomly generated dungeons filled with wild Pokemon and hidden treasure. Teaming up with a chosen partner, players form a rescue team, take on requests from other Pokemon, and explore an unfolding mystery involving a looming threat to the world.
Dungeon crawling combines turn based movement and combat with item management, as players use moves, held items, and orbs to survive increasingly difficult floors. Nearly every Pokemon from the first six generations can join the player's team, giving huge variety to squad building. With its charming story, roguelike dungeon structure, and deep Pokemon roster, it is a distinct spin on the core series formula.
