Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is set between the events of Sands of Time and Warrior Within, following the Prince as he accidentally unleashes an army of sand creatures while trying to save his brother's kingdom. This PSP version was built as a distinct game from the console release, with its own levels and structure suited to the handheld.
Acrobatic platforming and wall running return alongside time manipulation powers, letting players rewind mistakes and slow down enemies during combat. Combos and elemental powers add depth to sword fights against waves of sand based enemies. With its blend of parkour platforming and combat, it continues the series' signature style in a portable format.
