Description
Radar Mission is a naval combat title that combines classic battleship-style strategy with real-time action sequences. Players command a fleet of warships and attempt to locate and destroy enemy vessels hidden across a grid-based battlefield. Success requires careful planning, deduction, and tactical decision-making as players hunt down opponents before their own fleet is sunk.
The game features two primary modes. One mode closely resembles the traditional Battleship board game, where players take turns firing at grid coordinates to locate enemy ships. The other introduces real-time naval combat, allowing players to directly control vessels and engage hostile forces in action-oriented battles. This blend of strategic gameplay and arcade-style action helped make Radar Mission one of the earliest and most distinctive multiplayer titles on the original Game Boy.
