Rise of Nightmares

Rise of Nightmares is a survival horror adventure built specifically for Kinect, putting players in full control of their character's movements without a controller. The story follows Josh Abernathy as he searches for his wife after a train journey through Eastern Europe takes a horrifying turn.

Players use physical gestures to fight off grotesque creatures, solve puzzles, and explore a nightmarish, gothic world. As the first mature rated Kinect title, it offered a tense, immersive take on motion controlled gaming that stood apart from the system's family friendly catalogue.
