Rise of the Argonauts

Rise of the Argonauts casts you as Jason, king of Iolcus, sailing in search of the Golden Fleece after his bride is killed on their wedding day.

It blends third person combat with role playing conversation, and progression comes from dedicating deeds to gods including Ares, Athena, Apollo and Hermes rather than from experience points. Heroes such as Hercules and Achilles join the crew, and the story pulls freely from Greek myth as you travel between islands.
