Sagaia

Sagaia (also known as Darius II in some regions) is a side-scrolling shoot ’em up developed by Sega for arcades and later released on home systems. Players control a spacecraft battling through waves of enemy ships and massive mechanical sea creature bosses across branching stages, offering multiple paths and endings depending on player choices.

The game features fast-paced shooting action with power-ups that enhance weapons, shields, and firepower, allowing players to adapt their playstyle as difficulty increases. Its distinctive aquatic-themed enemies and challenging gameplay make it a standout in the shoot ’em up genre. With cooperative multiplayer and varied stage progression, the game delivers a classic arcade experience that remains popular among retro gaming fans.
