Skylanders: Swap Force is a colourful action-platforming adventure that takes players back to the magical world of Skylands, where a new group of heroes known as the Swap Force must stop the villain Kaos from exploiting the power of a volcanic eruption. After a magical event grants the Swap Force unique abilities, players embark on a journey across diverse regions to save Skylands from chaos and corruption.
The gameplay combines action combat, platforming, puzzle-solving, and collectible character progression. The game's signature feature allows players to mix and match the top and bottom halves of Swap Force characters, creating new combinations with unique abilities and movement types. Each character belongs to a specific elemental class and can be upgraded with new powers and skills.
