Streets of Rage 4

Streets of Rage 4 is the long-awaited return of Sega’s iconic side-scrolling brawler series, taking place years after the events of the original trilogy. When a new criminal organisation rises to power and threatens to take control of the city, veteran heroes Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, and a cast of returning and new fighters step up to restore order through classic street-fighting action.

The gameplay builds upon the series’ beloved beat ’em up formula with modern visuals, fluid animation, and enhanced combat mechanics. Players battle through hand-crafted stages filled with gangs, bosses, and environmental hazards while using combos, special attacks, weapons, and character-specific abilities. The game supports cooperative multiplayer and features unlockable retro characters from previous entries in the franchise. Its stylish hand-drawn artwork, excellent soundtrack, and satisfying combat helped make it one of the most acclaimed beat ’em ups of the modern era.
