Victorious Boxers 2: Fighting Spirit

Victorious Boxers 2: Fighting Spirit is a boxing simulation based on the Hajime no Ippo anime and manga series. Players step into the ring as Ippo Makunouchi and other rival fighters, each with distinct styles, strengths and signature moves. The gameplay emphasises timing, stamina management and strategic footwork rather than arcade button-mashing.

Story Mode follows key arcs from the series, featuring anime-style cutscenes and dramatic rival bouts. Career progression allows players to train, improve stats and climb through increasingly challenging opponents. With its blend of authentic boxing mechanics and faithful source material presentation, it stands out as a cult favourite sports title for PS2 collectors.
