Worms: Open Warfare 2 expands on the original PSP entry with new weapons, terrain types, and game modes, tasking teams of worms with wiping out rival teams using an outlandish arsenal across destructible 2D battlefields. Turn based play has each side positioning worms, judging wind and distance, and choosing from an ever growing list of weapons to land the winning blow.
New additions include Fort mode, where teams defend a base against waves of attackers, alongside expanded customisation for worm teams and battlefields. Ad hoc multiplayer supports several players battling locally, continuing the series' strong local competitive appeal. With its expanded content over the original, it offers more variety for fans of the series' signature turn based chaos.
